KazMunaiGas – Processing and Marketing: The reserves of POL and acting facilities of oil-refining plants provide for stability at the internal market of Kazakhstan

The government of Kazakhstan is trying to settle down the situation at the market of petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) which is somehow unstable this year. Since the beginning of the year local refining plants dealing with modernization of their production have been facing the problem of overstocking with their own products. They had to transport oil products to the oil storages all over Kazakhstan in order not to stop the production and not to reduce the processing. The unloading of the oil bases became possible only due to fast increase of POL prices in Russia – the largest importer of oil products for Kazakhstan. KazMunaiGas – Processing and Marketing JSC (KMG-PM) described current situation at the local POL market.
