Ukrainian expert doesn’t rule out that Russia may stop gas supplies to the Ukraine in the autumn because of nonpayment of the bill for $7 billion for untaken gas.
“I think, in the near future we will have serious problems in this field. Let’s imagine that in the middle of October, when cold weather and summit (in Vilnius) ) begin, Russia will announce stoppage of gas supplies to the Ukraine, while the Ukraine won’t pay its debt,” – the Economic Programs Director of the Ukrainian Razumkov Centre of Economic and Politic Research Vasily Yurchishin said at the press conference.
