Russia and Azerbaijan discuss oil

The Russian mass-media began a discussion of the prospects of the use by Rosneft of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. They discuss whether the company should take the route under the full control or to wait. The experts have not scrutinized as yet prospects of the Russian gas transport via the pipeline.
It’s hard not to notice that the way to BTC became open for Rosneft when BP, one of its major shareholders with 31% became the second largest shareholder in Rosneft itself (following the state, nearly 20%). It means that entrance of Rosneft to BTC became possible, at least under the agreement with BP or it could be even an idea of the oil company itself, as Rosneft is interested in the filling of Baku-Ceyhan.
