Koks group expects that prices of ware coke increase

Thus, the group expects, by the end of the year the prices of ware coke can at least stabilize at current level and will most likely start increasing from October, Frolov noted.

The average price of ware coal makes up about 5 thousand RUR per ton.

In the first half of 2013 the prices of coke reduced compared to the first half of 2012 due to lower demand for this product because of stopping a number of Russian enterprises which used to purchase coke at the open market. Thus, Koks Plc. reduced its production by 3% - to 1.24 million tons, the proceeds of the enterprise reduced by 31% and EBIDTA – by 48%.
