Ukrtransnafta imposes scheme of process oil refining

Soon, a draft resolution on the refining of process oil, extracted by Ukrtransnafta, will be submitted for consideration of the Cabinet of the Ukraine.

It is proposed to refine 400 thousand tons of the 675 thousand tons, extracted in March-May 2014, and to place 275 thousand tons in storage for their later return to the oil pipelines.

According to Ukrainian experts from the consulting group A-95, Ukrtransnafta sends this idea to the Government.
The company associates the oil pumping with the threat of capture of oil by separatists in the East, although the amount of the resources in the Lugansk region can be estimated at most at 200 thousand tons.
