Russian Ministry of Energy advises oil companies to create gasoline stock

On Tuesday, the Russian Energy Ministry sent letters to oil companies with recommendation to create a stock of gasoline in the total volume of 1.75 million tons by September 1, a representative of the Ministry’s press centre reported to the RIA Novosti.

The recommended volume of the stocks is practically identical to the previous year’s one: then the Ministry of Energy recommended the companies to increase the gasoline stock to 1.7 million tons from 1.25 million tons. Last year, the oil companies didn’t fulfill the recommendations of the Ministry - in early September, the stock actually amounted to 1.5 million tons of gasoline.
