In 2013, Kazmunai Gas Exploration & Production (KMG E&P) will start trial operations at the Novobogat SE deposit at the Liman block. The trial operation is planned for 2 years and then they’ll decide about the start of commercial production. the company awaits that within the first and the second years of trial operation they’ll extract correspondently 13,000 tons of oil and 19,000 tons. By April 1 2012,the reserves by C1+C2 are 1.9 million tons (13.9 million barrels in oil equivalent), and 290 million cubic m of dissolved gas.
