Lukoil gets new site in Western Siberia

Lukoil- Western Siberia (100% subsidiary of Lukoil) has won the tender for the right to use subsoil of the South-Kholmogorsky license site. The term of the license for exploration and production of hydrocarbons is 25 years.

The site is located in the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district, its area is ​​558 square km. Its projected recoverable oil resources on the basis of quantitative evaluation of the All-Russian Research Geological Petroleum Institute make up 31.9 million tons (D1 and D2).
