In Q1, Mechel increased production of cast iron and steel

In the first quarter of 2015, the leading Russian metals and mining company Mechel smelted 1.102 million tons of steel, which is by 7% more than in the same period of the previous year 1.051 million tons of cast iron, which is by 12% more than in the same period of the previous year. The coal production declined by 1% and amounted to 5.506 million tons.
