Mechel reduced its net loss under US GAAP by 53% to $273 mln in Q1, the company reports.
EBITDA rose by 2.45 times to $211 mln.
The profitability by EBITDA rose to 19% from 5.1%.
The company’s revenue fell by 34% against Q1 2014 to $1.113 bln.
The corrected net loss of the group in Q1 fell by 31% and made up $99 mln.
