Rosneft and Lukoil have started the prospecting and evaluation well construction at the Rybachiya structure of the Caspian Sea shelf within the geological prospecting of the North-Caspian license site located in the Russian sector of the North Caspian sea area. The well is drilled for exploration of the geological composition and the discovery of oil and gas deposits, and evaluation of their commercial importance.
