Zaporozhie iron ore plant reduced sintering ore production in January-September 2016

​The Zaporozhe iron ore plant in January-September 2016 reduced sintering ore production by 2% against January-September 2015 to 1.424 mln tons. In April 2016 the Zaporozhe iron ore plant extracted 360 thousand tons of ore.

In 2015 the Zaporozhe iron ore plant reduced sintering ore production by 2.1% against 2014 to 4.406 mln tons.

The Zaporozhe iron ore plant develops the South-Bilozersky and Pereverzevsky iron ore deposits and produces saleable iron ore.

According to the information of the enterprises as of the end of 2014, the major shareholders of Zaporozhe iron ore plant are Minerfin, a.s. — 51.1698%, Zaporozhsteel — 29.5193% and KSK Consulting, a.s. (Czechia)— 19.0632%.
