Moody's keeps its forecast of decrease in Russia's GDP for 2016 and expects economic growth in 2017.

Moody's, the international rating agency, has kept the forecast reduction of Russia's GDP in the range of 2.5-1.5% in 2016, meanwhile, waiting for the Russian economy to grow by 0.5-1.5% next year, as the agency forecast for the G20 countries informs.

Previously, it was noted that at the end of April 2016 Moody`s confirmed the "garbage" Ba1 level of Russia's sovereign rating. According to the agency, maintaining previous position was possible thanks to the stability of the Russian economy under the renewed decrease in oil prices and the efficiency of the country's budget adjustments.
