In 2012, Rosneft invested 3.8 billion rubles to the project of construction of the Eastern oil chemical company (VNHK). They completed elaboration of basic projects for the main technological utilities of pyrolysis, production of polyethylene, polypropylene, linear alpha-olefins and mono ethylene glycol. The plant will specialize in polymers production, polyethylene and polypropylene. Last year Rosneft leased and bought out land for construction and selected a foreign partner.
