"Rosneft" is against giving the competitors access to the shelf

The state company is against giving the competitors access to it.

"Rosneft" has entered into an open struggle against the liberalization of access to the Russian shelf, accusing the RF Ministry of Natural Resources of lobbying the interests of LUKOIL. According to "the Kommersant", in March Igor Sechin began to defend his point of view, with less care about its risk of exploration monopolizing by state "Rosgeologiya", which also follows the proposals of the RF Ministry of Environment. Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Khloponin, the RF Ministry of Energy and the RF Ministry of Economy support the Ministry. But the Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev, according to sources of "the Kommersan", is closer to the position of Igor Sechin, and in any case Vladimir Putin will make the decision.
