Sibur has developed commercial production of new polypropylene sorts

Sibur’s production assortment has been increased by 10 new sorts of polypropylene. They have a number of different segments of application, and solve import replacement tasks and are unique for the benchmark assortment of Sibur and being as good as the best global analogues.

Polypropylene sort PP H085 CF is meant for the production of non-oriented multi-layer packaging CPP-films  produced, in particular, at  the BIAXPLEN plant, Sibur’s subsidiary.

Sort PP H033 FF is meant for the production of uniaxial-oriented tape yarn, raffia. The special receipt of the mark enables it  to achieve in the processing several competitive advantages in comparison to the basic sorts of polypropylene. In particular, the volume of waste reduces and yield increases. The quality of the finished  items improves as well, including the mechanical specifications of tape yarn, and the efficiency of the textile processing of the raffia to soft packaging
