In Q1, headway in exploratory drilling in Russia grew by 2%

In the first quarter of 2014, Russian oil companies drilled 160.8 thousand meters of exploratory wells that is by 2.0% more than in January-March of 2013, the Interfax reports.
According to the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector, in the reporting period the headway in exploratory drilling decreased by 8.8% and reached 4114.5 thousand meters.
