Gazprom and Austria note urgency of creation of alternative routes to supply Russian gas to Europe

A working visit of Gazprom’s delegation, headed by the company’s CEO Alexei Miller, to Austria has taken place.

A working visit of Alexei Miller and general director of OMV Gerhard Royce took place in Vienna. Supply of Russian natural gas to the country was discussed. Activity of Gazprom as a reliable supplier, which contributes to energy safety of Austria and Europe to a large degree, was appreciated. It was noted that the current geopolitical situation confirms urgency of creation of alternative routes to supply Russian gas to European consumers.
