KMG EP reduced oil production by 1% to 3 million tons in Q1

JSC “KMG EP” (producing subsidiary of the Kazakhstani national company “KazMunaiGaz”) produced 3.002 million tons of crude oil in January-March 2013. It is by 1% less than during the same period in 2012, the company stated.

This figure considers shares in a JV “Kazgermunai” (KGM), CCEL and “PetroKazakhstan Inc.”

JSC “Ozenmunaigas” (OMG) produced 1.237 million tons (appr. equal to the level of Q1, 2012), JSC “Embamunaigas” (EMG) – 691 thousand tons (+2%) over the reported period.
