Lukoil to share experience of zero emissions at shelf projects

The delegation of Lukoil has participated in the discussion of the maritime planning at the 17th International ecological forum “Day of the Baltic Sea”.

Lukoil has made a presentation of its experience on meeting the principle of the zero emission at the offshore objects, in conformity with which all industrial and household waste is collected into closed containers and shipped to the coast for further processing and utilization.

The discussion was supported by the delegates of the State Duma, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, international ecological organizations HELCOM and WWF.

The nature preserving standards of Lukoil at the offshore projects have become the basis of recommendations made by HELCOM to the countries running activity in the Baltic Sea.
