Gazprom reduces estimated capacity of Amur gas processing plant

Gazprom has previously intended to build seven units with a capacity of 7 billion cubic meters. meters of gas per year each at the Amur gas processing plant, now the project provides for the construction of six units. Thus, 9 units will be build at the plant, six of them for gas processing, three - on the allocation of helium and nitrogen, reports the Interfax.

"Indeed, during the design of the Amur gas processing plant, number of production lines was optimized to 6. The processing of 42 billion cubic meters of gas allows us to provide the gas supply to China in accordance with contractual obligations," - Gazprom notes.
