The Minister of Energy and Coal of the Ukraine, V. Demchishin, on March 23rd 2015 said that he admits a possibility of termination of the Russian gas purchase due to new circumstances.
The gas buyers plan to reconsider their energy policy.
There is no sense to buy the Russian gas at a higher price than European, V. Demchishin said adding that the Ukraine would stop buying it. Or not.
The Ukraine might minimize or terminate the gas purchase, V. Demchishin said.
Recently the Ukraine didn’t buy large volumes of the Russian gas
The minimal tranches of $15 mln that covered a week’s demand of the Ukraine in gas – such a situation was in March 2015.
