LUKOIL filed an application to take part at the 23rd license round to operate at the Norwegian shelf

LUKOIL has filed an application to take part at the 23d license round to operate at the Norwegian shelf. It is said about in the materials of the Norwegian oil directorate. There applied 40 companies in total. There will be auctioned 160 blocks.

It was stated in June 2013 that LUKOIL became a participant of 2 projects in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea on the results of the license round, held by the Ministry of Oil and Energy of Norway. In particular, the share of LUKOIL in the block 719 makes up 30%, English Centrica – 50% (operator), Norwegian North Energy – 20%. Lukoil has 20% of participation share in the block 708, Swedish Lindin Norway – 40% (operator), North Energy – 20% and Italian Edison – 20%
