The scientists from Oxford joined to an investigation of the incident’s causes at Kashagan. The fragments of the pipeline have been sent to the British scientific centre for examination. There has occurred gas leak at this part of the pipeline twice since the start of production at Kashagan in the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian Sea.
As KAZINFORM reports, the department for ecology in the Aturausky region carries out an inspection of the consortium, which takes part in the development of an offshore deposit Kashagan.
