MMK is going to supply 8 million tons of metal items to the internal market in 2013, by 350,000 – 400,000 tons more than last year. Internal supplies will share 74%. The company’s representative says that growth in supplies has been possible because of the increase in the production of HAV materials, such as galvanized steel and construction steel with polymer coverings. Under the preliminary forecast, MMK can export 1.5 million tons of metal items, that will share 14% in the total sales. MMK will supply another 1.2 million tons to the CIS market, that will share 12% in the total sales. The company is going to further strengthen its export policy. Next year the sales to the CIS can increase by 17% to 1.4 million tons.
