Rosneft has no plans to reduce its 12% stake in the Italian oil refinery Saras, and will work to improve its effectiveness, said head of Rosneft Igor Sechin.
Earlier this week, Rosneft reported that it would sell the 8.99% stake in Saras of its stake in the amount of 20.99% and expected to gain from the deal 162.415 million euro. The Italian company is one of the leaders in the oil refining in Europe and owns one of the largest refinery on Sardinia with capacity of 300 thousand barrels per day (about 15% of the total Italian refining capacity).
