Within 3 next years, Samotlorneftegaz is going to drill 570 new wells

Within 3 next years, Rosneft’s subsidiary Samotlorneftegaz is going to drill 570 new wells at the Samotlor deposit. The enterprise realizes a major investment project for the growth in oil production. The upgrading of the production promotes effective oil extraction.
By now, they have drilled 74 wells and are drilling 11 more. 67 of the wells are launched. They have completed the construction of 222 wells with side holes drilling, and 205 wells are launched, the director of the Department for technologies and drilling engineering of Samotlorneftegaz, N. Bondarev says.
