The Ukraine has injected to its underground gas storages 17.6 billion cubic m of gas

The Ukraine has injected to its underground gas storages 17.6 billion cubic m of gas, the Deputy Chairman of Neftegaz Ukraine, V. Chuprun says. The injection will continue in November. By the beginning of November, the underground gas storages will contain 18 billion cubic m of gas.

On October 8th, the President of Russia,Vladimir Putin told that Gazprom helped the Ukraine to inject gas to its underground gas storages granting a discount to the Ukrainian partners. The price of the injected gas was $260 per 1,000 cubic m whereas the current price is $380-390 per 1,000 cubic m, Unofficially, the discount was granted for the purchase of 5 billion cubic m of gas of Ostchem company belonging to D. Firtash.
