The governor of Sakhalin denies an impact of sanctions on shelf projects

The sanctions of the EU, Canada, Australia and the USA against a number of Russian oil companies does not have an impact on the implementation of shelf projects in Sakhalin. The implementation budget of the projects is according to the plans, the governor of Sakhalin region, A.Khoroshavin said.

“The Gross Regional Product of Sakhalin consists of raw-material production. The energy products are always in great demand. And the sanctions, imposed against Russia, do not have any impact on us,” Khoroshavin said.
