Uzbekneftegaz to continue to look for investors for exploration at four investment blocks
Uzbekneftegaz will continue to look for investors for geological exploration at four investment blocks, the company reported to the RIA Novosti on Thursday.
It specified that it was a question of geological exploration at the Khoresmsky, Meshekli-Tuzkoisky and Akdjarsky blocks in the Bukhara-Khiva oil and gas region and the Chimbaisky block in the Ustyurt region with preliminary investments in the amount of $260 million during the next five years. The exploration at these blocks was planned to be carried out in 2008-2012. In particular, preliminary agreements with IPC and Mubadala (the United Arab Emirates) and Russian StroyGazOil were reached.
