Gazprom can sell 37.7% of Uralneftegazprom to the other co-owner of the asset

In the near future Gazprom can sell its shareholding in Uralneftegazprom CJSC to the other co-owner of the company, Kommersant reported on Thursday. If the transaction is concluded, the asset will be fully consolidated by the group of investors which has been holding 62.3% of its shares since the middle of 2012.

A source acquainted with the situation reports, Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg LLC proposed to the group of investors to redeem its 37.7% of Uralneftegazprom, as this asset is non-core for the concern due to the minor share and small gas reserves.
