Rosneft will engage in the creation of an integrated control system of ice situation in the Arctic region. The system will help to make oil production and minerals exploration safe.
A member of the BOD of the company, A.Chilingarov said. According to him, Rosneft, together with their partners from ExxonMobil Corporation, work on the creation of new safety technology in the Kara Sea. The drilling operation in this region will start in August 2014. A drilling platform West Alpha moves towards the Russian coast.
