Operating wells of Azerbaijan head list of the most productive wells of BP

On the results of 2013, three production wells at the Shah Deniz gas condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea topped the list of the 29 most productive wells at fields, operated by BP.

This is stated in the BP’s report on sustainable development by results of 2013, posted on the company's website.

According to the report, three producing wells at the Shah Deniz field with daily yield of 46.98 46.27 and 44.94 thousand barrels in oil equivalent respectively took the first three places in the list of the 29 most productive wells.
Two more wells at the Shah Deniz field took the sixth and the ninth places in the list respectively.
The reserves of the Shah Deniz field are estimated at 1.2 trillion cubic meters of gas. The contract on development of the offshore field Shah Deniz was signed in June 1996.
