Sechin: Rosneft must be sold to strategic investor

In the context of price volatility, political instability on the capital markets, deficit of money the public exchange sale of Rosneft’s shares will be extremely inefficient. This was stated by Rosneft’s head Igor Sechin.

Buyers may not have the financial resources, and it threatens with drop in the prices and even with the disruption of the auction, he said. Rather, the focus should be on strategic investors with the appropriate qualifications, which shouldn’t have the risk of claims and should provide synergies with the company, Sechin said.
