ALROSA is about to invest about 6.4 billion roubles into geological exploration

In 2016 “ALROSA” invests 6.373 billion roubles into geological exploration. It will keep the size of financing at the level of the previous year. Most of the company's investment in 2015 fell on geological exploration in the republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The reserves of the company were estimated at 1.108 billion carat as of early 2016. Geological exploration in 2016 will let the company increase the total reserves for another fifty and a half million carats of precious raw materials. The main job will be carried out at “Zarya” project, Aikhal deposit and Verhnemunskoe project.
