Swiss trader Glencore, which in the framework of the deal with "RussNeft" of Mikhail Gutseriev was supposed to obtain 49% of the company for the debt of "Russneft" and share in its assets, will have to limit itself to 46% of the shares. In this case FAS has no formal reason to require removal of the transaction to the government commission on foreign investments: Glencore already controls same package in "Negusneft" under control of "Russneft" owning strategic deposits, and an increase in effective interest doesn’t occur. The parties did not disclose how further 3% of the shares will be offset, "the Kommersant" writes.
