Bashneft plans to purchase new assets in Russia, advisor to the President of Bashneft for strategy and development, I. Marchenko, said.
“We have good opportunities. The decision will be made”, he said.
On December 24th the Government received almost 74% in the registered capital of Bashneft. In late October 2014 the Moscow Arbitration Court satisfied the claim of the General Prosecutor’s Office on the return of 71.6% of shares to the Government and in late December AFK Sistema transferred the rest 2.3% of Bashneft’s shares to the Government. Rosimuschestvo included Bashneft in the list of strategic enterprises.
