LNG export to be liberalized when Rosneft and Novatek conclude agreements with customers

Changes in the regulatory framework for LNG liberalization will be made when Rosneft and Novatek conclude agreements with potential customers, the Vice Prime Minister, Arkady Dvorkovich stated at the press conference on Wednesday.

As the agency Prime transmits, the Vice Prime Minister said that active negotiations of Russian companies with potential consumers took place – in the first place with consumers from Japan, China, Korea and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region. “It is a matter of Novatek and Rosneft in addition to Gazprom, which does it always,” – the official noted.
