Gas from the largest field in Turkmenistan to be supplied to China

Gas from the largest Turkmen gas condensate field of Galkynysh will be supplied to China, the Turkmengas’ Chairman, Kakageldy Abdullaev stated at the IVth International gas congress of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.
He emphasized that the gas deposit, which is the second largest in the world by its reserves, will be a raw materials source for the growth of gas export from Turkmenistan to China. According to the Turkmengas’ Head, 25 billion cubic meters of gas per year are planned to be produced at the Galkynysh deposit for the Chinese direction. On the whole, the export of Turkmen gas to China will be 65 billion cubic meters per year.
