ADB recommends Kazakhstan to turn attention to crude refining

The Asian Development Bank recommends Kazakhstan to focus on the development of oil refining, the vice-president of ADB Lakshmi Venkatachalam asserted on Wednesday.

“As for innovations via technology transfer, hydrocarbon processing into high value-added  petroleum products  may become one of the most effective ways of using its privileges for Kazakhstan, regarding mineral resources riches and an attraction of world-class investors,” Venkatachalam said during the meeting of Foreign Investors’ Council.
