50% of Odessa refinery to be transferred to Cypriot company

The Ukrainian antimonopoly committee has permitted Empson Limited (Nicosia, Cyprus) to purchase over 50% of the Odessa refinery.
Besides, the committee permitted Empson to buy over 50% of Energy and Gas of the Ukraine (Odessa), which owns combined heat and power unit with the disposal of atmospheric visbreaking residue for power supply of the refinery.
