SOCAR invests in the future

Despite the decline in oil prices, which began in the middle of last year and had a negative impact on many of the fuel and energy companies, the revenues of SOCAR didn’t reduce in 2014, but even increased, reached 40 billion manats.
 
Along with income, of course, the SOCAR’s costs increased, which includes three industrial associations, one refinery and one gas processing company, oil fleet, deep water offshore platform plant, two trusts, one institution, and 22 structures.
 
Today SOCAR is not only oil, but also gas and chemical industries. That is, speaking about the income or expenses of the oil company, you mean the consolidated income and expenditure of the whole group SOCAR, and in the present circumstances, not every unit continuously generates income, and expenses remain constant.
