Bashneft increased extraction by 14.4% in Q1 2015

Bashneft has reported on the preliminarily results of its production activity in Q1 2015.
- Average daily oil extraction made up 52.3 thousand tons
- Extraction at old deposits rose by 4.7% against Q1 2014
- New assets in Timano-Pechora and Western Siberia provided 12.6% of oil production
- Petrol output rose by 5% against Q1 2014, diesel fuel – by 5.5%
- Output of light oil products rose to 68.8%
- 83.4% of petrol and 99.8% of diesel fuel met the Euro-5 standard.
The oil extraction at the company’s deposits in Q1 2015 made up 4,709 thousand tons, by 14.4% more than in Q1 2014. The average daily extraction in Q1 2015 reached 52.3 thousand tons/day.
A significant extraction growth in Q1 was provided by the production growth at old deposits by 4.7% mainly due to the holding of highly efficient works in Bashkortostan. A significant contribution into the extraction growth was made by the Trebs and Titov deposits and the Sorovsky deposit that provided 12.6% of the total company’s extraction in Q1 2015.
