By 2040 Eastern Siberia and Yakutia to be able to produce up to 110 million tons of oil a year.

By 2040 Eastern Siberia (the Krasnoyarsk Region, the Irkutsk Region) and Yakutia could have reached a common level of oil production of 100 - 110 million tons per year, the scientific director of the Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics named after Trofimuk Aleksey Kontorovich stated today at the conference "Oil and Gas of Eastern Siberia", which takes place on in Krasnoyarsk March 22-23.
