Igor Sechin discusses onshore and offshore cooperation with China

The largest Russian oil company Rosneft discusses onshore and offshore cooperation with China, the chief of the company, Igor Sechin says. ‘We elaborate joint shelf development. We have a plan for onshore deposits development, including in Eastern Siberia together with our Chinese partners’. Oil supplies from Russia to China can increase to 50 million tons a year. China is a strategic market for Russia. Rosneft has already closed a 20-year contract in 2009 and strictly follows it.
