In 2015, Polymetal reduced gold production by 9%

In 2015, Polymetal Int (unites assets of Polymetal) decreased its gold production by 9% to 861 thousand ounces (26.78 tons), and increased the silver by 12% to 32.1 million ounces (998.42 tons) as compared to 2014, the company reports.

In addition, last year the company produced 827 tons of copper, which is by 49% less than the result in the previous year. The total production of metal based on the ratio of 1:60 in the gold equivalent decreased by 2% to 1.401 million ounces. In terms of a new ratio of 1:80, adopted by the company, the decrease made up 3% to 1.267 million ounces.
