Kazakhstan plans to simplify the order of granting the right to use the subsoil – Shkolnik

A new code that will simplify the order of granting the right to use the subsoil and hold geological exploration is being worked out in Kazakhstan, the Minister of Energy, V. Shkolnik said on Tuesday.

A new conception of the code on subsoil aimed to provide a flow of the necessary investment into the geological exploration to keep the sector’s development dynamics is being worked out. This document is to radically simplify the order of granting the right to use the subsoil and hold geological exploration and provide the expansion of the international cooperation to explore new oil and gas deposits, Mr. Shkolnik said.
