Gazprom to look for ways to produce hydrocarbons in the Kara Sea: the monopoly announces tender for design of technical specification for offshore subsea production modules

Gazpom has announced tender for the design of the technical specifications for offshore subsea production modules. The results will be used by Gazprom during development of the perspective of deep water oil and gas fields on the shelf of the Kara Sea.

The complexity of the design consists in the absence of experience to use offshore subsea production modules with underwater preparation technology in conditions of limited navigation period (2-2.35 months). Besides, technical specification for offshore subsea production modules with productivity of up to 10 billion cubic meters will be designed for the first time in the domestic practice.
