Conflict between Gazprom and the Ukraine make European blood boil

The prices went up by 1/5 over the last 6 weeks since Russia terminated gas supply to the Ukraine. And it is only the beginning.

Until recently the gas price kept going down. They did it even under the contracts with Gazprom. To date, the tendency turned the other way round. Since mid July the price of gas went up to $7.1 per a therm under the long-term contracts. The information is from the LSE.

As prominent analysts of Russia and Bloomberg state it is all the fault of the Ukraine. The prices in Great Britain totally copy European gas prices.
