Surgutneftegaz to deprive Europe of cheap raw materials, become a competitor

Surgutneftegaz is preparing a double attack on European refineries: the forthcoming launch of the legendary long-delayed construction - the hydrocracking unit at the company's plant in Kirishi will decrease the supply of raw materials from the Baltic plant to Europe by 2 times and turn it from a peaceful exporter into a serious competitor on the northwest market of oil products.
At the end of the year, the most mysterious Russian oil company will launch the hydrocracking unit with annual capacity of 5 million tons at Kirishinefteorgsintez (Kinef), some market sources reported to Reuters.
